The closest airport to our Inn is Asheville Regional Airport.
Our Bed and Breakfast is located 19.6 miles the Asheville Airport.
Unfortunately, we do not always have someone available to help with luggage but if we can, we are happy to assist you.
Only the Bromfield Suite has a private coffee maker and refrigerator in that room. Freshly brewed coffee is available each morning in the formal Dining Room beginning at 7:30 am through breakfast time. We have coffee and tea stations available on each level in the common areas of the Inn. We also offer complimentary bottled waters, soft drinks and ice in the shared refrigerators on each level of the common areas of the Inn. We do not have a microwave on our property.
Check-in is between 3-6 pm. Earlier check-ins may be accommodated for a small convenience fee but are not guaranteed. Please contact us directly in advance to see if arrangements can be made.
Check-out by 11 am.
As we personally greet each and every guest at their check-in and we do not do any type of self check-ins, a late check-in isn’t an option.
No, we do not. We have found that guests usually have dinner plans/reservations, and don’t want to fill up before. We do have, in our china cabinet in the formal living room, wine and champagne glasses for use during your stay, as well as, ice buckets and corkscrews.
We provide a daily housekeeping tidy service for all of our rooms.
Due to the Dept of Health restrictions, guests are not permitted to use our laundry facilities.
We are unable to book any weddings at the Inn at this time, due to current staffing shortages.
We do not host events at the Inn but we are happy to rent out the entire Inn for family reunions and gatherings. Whole house rentals do not include the kitchen and only include guest rooms and common spaces and the grounds. Please contact us specifically to discuss.
While we have 2 guest rooms on the main level that can be accessed without any stairs or steps, we are a historic home and due to the nature of the property, there are no specific ADA compliant rooms.
Yes, we have one parking spot for each of our guest rooms right on the property in the front the Inn. There is no charge for parking on-site.
We have 6 guest rooms. All our rooms provide en suite bathrooms. We have 5 King size bed guest rooms (including the Suite) and 1 Queen size bed guest room. We do not have roll-away beds. Blow-up mattresses are not allowed. There are no adjoining rooms.

With our room rate, you will enjoy the amenities of a boutique hotel and the comforts of home. A full breakfast is served every morning, as well as an early morning fresh brewed coffee. At check-in, a Welcome homemade signature fresh popcorn snack goodie bag is available to all guests. Complimentary coffee/teas and waters/soft drinks thru-out the day/night. Filtered water station. Free on-site parking, Wi-Fi, and daily housekeeping.

Yes, the entire Inn has central A/C and Heat.
Our full complimentary breakfast is prepared fresh each morning. Each day the entrée will change, alternating days with sweet and savory. The three-course, plated, sit down breakfast is served in the dining room at 8:30 am.
We can do our best to accommodate food allergies if we are notified in advance.
Due to the intimate nature of the Inn, we gladly welcome all visitors over the age of 14. We love animals but we cannot accommodate visitors’ pets.
Unfortunately, we do not serve dinner but there are some fabulous restaurants located just a short walk downtown. It is strongly suggested to make dinner reservation prior to your arrival.
Due to the size of the Inn, cancellations affect us significantly and therefore necessitates we maintain a business policy. Once you make your reservation, if you should change or cancel at any time, there is a $25 cancellation/processing free. Cancellation less than 7 days prior to the reserved date incurs the cost of one night’s lodging, plus tax.
